magandanbg araw po sa inyo fellow nurses..
medyo confused ako and anxiety is building up. hindi ko po kasi alam kung MATAGAL or SANDALI ang processing ng I-140.
i was given a sponsorship by a Long-term facility called SAVA Senior Care Administrative Services and my papers was prepared by Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak & Stewart P.C. (i think they are the legal people to arrange things with regards to visa).
Ogletree's personnel asked me to submit all of the requirements needed to file for an I-140. i believe i-140 is a type of an IMMIGRANT petition for an Alien woker (based on USCIS web site). i was able to submit all of the requirements last OCTober 2007 but i was given a notice from the OGLETREE that they have filed the application in the USCIS last January 03, 2008.
my question is how long does it take for my I-140 to be approve and the most raised question na minsan nakakainis pag tinatanong ako ng mga tita ko eh..KELAN KA BA MAKAKAALIS?
so yeah, kela po kaya ako makakaalis?

hi! it's really a small world for us because my papers also are processed by sava senior care at ogletree lawfirm. regarding to your questions, the lenght of time will depend if the uscis will ask additional request for evidence for the facility which is the petitioner. my I-140 took 1 year before it was approved because of the RFE. but just ne patient, anything will come in the right time. as of now, because of the retrogression, it will took a longtime for the uscis to approved as what i've read in their website. if you want to approximate the length of approval on your I-140, visit their website at www.uscis.gov and find their the dates that they are processing so that you can estimate the length of time of the approval on your petition. your on the right track in choosing sava senior care because they are very prompt in answering our concerns! don't forget to ask the notice of action (NOA) to the one who handles your processing at ogletree deakins. good for both of us! and god bless |

Hi, baka maka help lang to... My application was filed in USCIS last April 2007 and approved in July 2007, which means July 2007 is my priority date. So it took 3 months para ma approve un application ko. Yung question mo kung kelan ka makakaalis? That's the most difficult one to answer. The June priority date continues to be unchanged which is currently March 2006. So kung mapalad tayo, baka late next year or in 2010. Hayaan mo yang mga relatives na yan sa kakatanong. Talagang matagal lang ang processing ng visa dahil sa retrogression. Ang importante nyan eh papunta ka na sa States at nag aantay na lang ng visa. Hope this helps. Good luck!
