Hi. I'm a new member. I'm glad that there is a nursing forum like this. I have some concerns regarding my current agency. I signed a contract w/ them last November 2007. Ever since, they have not given us receipt numbers from USCIS that our petition has already been filed. I asked for it last month and the CEO of the agency itselt told us that they are not releasing any receipt numbers to their applicants bec. it is confidential. It is only them and the immigration lawyer should know. I've asked other friends from other agencies and they said that they have their receipt no. and it is my right to know. Do you think I can file this complaint to POEA? I've been planning to find another agency but I don't know where to begin bec. my agency is saying that we have to pay the liquidated damages (such a big amount) before we can be released fr. them. Pls.give me some advice. Thanks.
