Hi pinkvanilla, First of all, congratulations for passing the NCLEX and IELTS. To answer your question, I will need to know which state you applied for registration. There are a lot of openings for nurses in the US, and most of them are from reputable hospitals. Your chances of landing to a nice hospital will depend on your qualifications, not only with the exams you passed. At the present, employers may only file for the temporary worker visa for nurses due to the retrogression of immigrant visa for nurses. However, the H1-B visa cap for the fiscal year 2008 has been filled fast just last month, so you will need to wait until next year before any employer can file a petition for you for the next allotment of visa cap for fiscal year 2009. Keep in mind that you may only qualify for H1-B visa if you have relevant 2 years of work experience in your field. I hope this answers your question. If you have any other concern, feel free to post again. Keep reading through our website for nursing updates. You may send a private message or email me your information, so that we may refer you to hiring agencies here. Best wishes, Admin
